Youth Boot Camp 2022

Join us for this 8-week Boot Camp exercise class.  This class will work on your strength and endurance.  During this class you will do a variety of exercises to help you achieve your fitness goals!  We will have a different workout every morning! It is possible to have fun working out and this class is a classic example of that!  We will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays at the field behind the Campus from 9:15-10:15am.

Dates – April 2nd – May 7th (Registration March 11th-31st)

Tumbling Tots – 2 to 3 year olds – This “Gymboree” style class practices listening and turn-taking while exploring a wide variety of mats and equipment. This class meets once per week. One guardian is asked to stay and participate with each child.

Saturday (9:30am – 10:00am).
Saturday (10:00am – 10:30am).

Tumbling 1 – 4 to 6 year olds – Students learn basic tumbling stunts, rolls, and balance beam while developing coordination, strength, and flexibility. Turn-taking, listening, and social skills continue to be a focus in this class. This class meets once per week.

Saturday (10:30am – 11:00am).
Saturday (11:00am – 11:30am).

Location – Multi-Purpose Room.

Costs – $60 for members  |  $75 for non-member

Competitive video gaming! The Altoona Campus will be offering it first ever E-Sports program with a twist. Competitive video gaming mixed with exercise!

When: August 10th – September 2nd | Tuesday and Thursdays from 3:45pm-4:30pm

Track Orientation

9-15 year olds may take the Track Orientation to have access to the upstairs track area.

Weight Room Orientation

12-15 year olds may take the Cardio/Weight Room Orientation to have access to our cardio and weight room equipment. (Cybex and Free Motion)

There is a $15 fee for the orientation.

To complete the Weight Room Orientation please stop by the Front Desk at the Campus.

Free Weights Waiver

14-15 year olds may obtain a signed parent/guardian waiver and have taken the Cardio/Weight Room Orientation to have access to the rest of the weight room area including the free weights.

Youth Sports

Our popular youth basketball program is gearing up for the Winter Season! The focus of each division is to develop fundamentals, encourage sportsmanship, promote teamwork, and have FUN! Space is limited and registrations are accepted on first-come first-serve basis. All registrations will be held online at altoonacampus.com.

2022  |  Preschool-1st grade  |  Registration- September 1st

Practices will start on November 4th and games will start on November 5th. The divisions will be co-ed: Preschool and K-1st. Practices are Friday evenings and games on Saturday mornings. *There are no games or practices during the week of Thanksgiving.

League Dates: November 4th-December 17th

2022  |  2nd – 7th Grade  |  Registration- TBD

Practices will start January 3rd and games will start on January 7th. Practices will either be on Tuesday or Friday nights (coach picks at the coaches meeting) Games will be Saturday mornings.

The boys divisions are 2nd, 3rd-4th, 5th-6th and 7th.

The girls divisions are 2nd, 3rd-4th, and 5th-7th

Price: $100

Flag Football 2022

Our recreational flag football league is back! Registration is open until August 13th.

  • Games are played at Sam Wise Youth Complex.
  • Practices are determined by the coach.
  • Games will start on September 17th.
  • Practices can start after September 1st.

We are still working on our Jerseys. If you have one from the past and want to use that, that is allowed. Otherwise, we will have some for purchase available.

Ages: 1st – 7th grade

Registration Dates: July 1st – August 13th

League Dates:  September 1st – October 22nd (Games begin September 17th)

Cost: $65 (includes a mouth guard)

 

Spring Wee Ball 2022

The Altoona Campus offers a t-ball league for 3-5 year olds! The “Wee Play T-Ball League” or “Wee Ball” consists of two divisions 4 & under and 5 & under.

The rules and equipment are age-appropriate for each division and promote hustle, skill development, and teamwork!

All practices and games will be played on the Wee Ball fields at Lions Park. Each team will meet twice a week, one weeknight and Saturday mornings.

4U-Must be 3 by August 1st
5U-Must be 4 by August 1st

Registration Dates: July 1st – 23rd

League Dates: August 1st – 27th

Location: Games and Practices at Lions Park

Cost: $45
