Youth Fitness Classes

We’re excited to partner with NIKE this summer and we hope you’ll be joining us! Sign up today!

Join us for this 8-week Boot Camp exercise class. This class will work on your strength and endurance all while having fun! During this class you will do a variety of exercises to help you achieve your fitness goals! We will have a different workout every morning.

Cost: $60 for members and $85 for non-members  |  Each child receives a shirt and a NIKE bag.

When: June 11-August 2nd (No class on July 4th)
Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays  |  9:15AM-10:15AM

Ages: 2nd-8th graders

This class will focus on off season speed and agility training. We will meet in the Adult Gym and with small numbers in the class we can really focus on your speed and agility goals.

When: June 4th – June 27th | Mondays and Wednesdays
4th-6th Graders 4:45 pm-5:30 pm
7th-9th Graders 5:30 pm-6:15 pm

Tumbling Tots (Ages 2-3)
This “Gymboree” style class practices listening and turn- taking while exploring a wide variety of mats and equipment. This class meets once per week. One guardian is asked to stay and participate with each child.  |  Saturdays 9:45-10:15am

Tumbling 1 (Ages 4-6)
Students learn basic tumbling stunts, rolls, and balance beam while developing coordination, strength, and flexibility. Turn-taking, listening, and social skills continue to be a focus in this class. This class meets once per week.  |  Saturdays 10:20-10:50am

Tumbling 2 (Ages 6-8)
This intermediate level is for children who are ready for more advanced skills and continued practice of the basic Tumbling 1 skills.  Activities include walkovers, cartwheels, headstands, and balance beam.  |  Saturdays 11:00-11:30am

Who can be the next to conquer Mt Altoona Campus?  This class an intense thrill ride into the world of obstacle training. We have added a Salmon Ladder and a Warped Wall to the course!  Who will rise to the occasion and become a CAMPUS NINJA WARRIOR?!

Class Dates:  February 5 – March 31

Cost: Members $80 | Non-Members $100

Time and Location: Tuesdays 5:45-6:45pm in the Adult Gym  |  Thursdays 5:45-6:45 in Multi-Purpose Room

Ages: 2nd-7th grade

Interested in specific training for your child? Training sessions may be purchased individually or in a package. Discounts are available on multi-session packages. This is a one-time orientation and training that will prepare and allow your child to use the elevated track at the campus. The class is for kids ages 9-15. After completing this class children 9-15 can use the track but they must bring their card with them each time.

One time $10 fee.

This is a one-time training and educational course that offers 12-15 years olds an orientation and access to our cardio and weight room equipment. This class requires parental permission.

Youth Sports

Looking for something for your kids to do on early out Wednesdays? 1st-5th graders can come play Dodgeball at the Campus!
Dates: January 17 – Spring Break
Cost: Members Free  |  Non-Members $5
Time: 2:30-3:30PM
Location: Robert and Sharon Townsend Youth Gym

Spring Wee Ball 2018

The Altoona Campus offers a t-ball league for 3-5 year olds! The “Wee Play T-Ball League” or “Wee Ball” consists of two divisions, 4 and under and 5 and under.  The rules and equipment are age-appropriate for each division and promote hustle, skill development, and teamwork!

To play in the 4U Division, players must be at least 3 years old by April 16th. To play in the 5U Division, players must be at least 4 years old by April 16th . All practices and games will be played on the Wee Ball fields at Lions Park. Each team will meet twice a week (one weeknight and Saturday morning.) *Practices will be the first week, and games the rest of the season.
