The Altoona Community Service Campus would like to announce the re-opening of the Kids Klub program in June. The Altoona Campus will host a summer camp at Willowbrook Elementary School in Altoona. Further information about the camp and registration can be found HERE!

The Altoona Campus also plans to resume its Before-and-After School program in the seven elementary schools in the Southeast Polk District this fall. Registration for that program will not begin until summer. Please visit our website and follow our social media for updates and registration information.

Our full-day programs are offered on regularly-scheduled Southeast Polk Community School teacher in-service days, as well as full-week camps during spring break, winter break, and summer vacation.

*Swimming lessons are offered through the Altoona Campus Aquatic Dept. If you have not signed up for lessons before you will want to create an account to do so at this will allow you to register for swimming lessons when they are available to our families.

Day Camps are days that are regularly scheduled no school (Inservice) days per the SEP District Calendar. During these day camps Kids Klub provides fun engaging activities for all ages. Guest Speakers and Field trips may be offered.

  • Camps are offered as long as enrollment number allow. If registration numbers do not allow for a day camp Kids Klub will be closed.
  • Kids Klub does not offer programming on Snow Days. If the district closes the school due to inclement weather Kids Klub will be closed.

The 2021/2022 In Service days are:

October 16th

November 24th (Wednesday before Thanksgiving)

December 23rd, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th (Winter Break) Closed December 24th and December 31st

January 17th

March 11th-18th (Spring Break)

April 15th

Kids Klub offers Summer Camp for ages going into K through going into 6th grades.

All day camps with arts & crafts, science projects, reading/writing, cooking, fieldtrips (local walking), swimming and guest speakers. Our camps provide breakfast, lunch and snack.

Kids Klub summer camp programs follow DHS state ratios 1 staff per 15 students and also provide meals in accordance with CACFP (Child Adult Care Food Program). Staff are all CPR/1st aid and Mandatory Reporter certified.

Field Trips: All field trips for 2021 will be local and within walking distance of Willowbrook Elementary

Camp runs from June 7th thru August 17th.

Kids Klub provides a fun interactive summer camp program for elementary aged students. This program is within the Southeast Polk Community School district.
Families can pick the weeks needed at the time of registration.
For students who have finished Kindergarten-6th grade.
Camp Starts: Monday, June 7th
Camp Ends: Tuesday, August 17th
$50 registration fee per student.

Cost Per Student/Week:
$170 Members of the Altoona Campus
$180 Non-Members of the Altoona Campus

6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: Willowbrook Elementary

Kids Klub will take necessary precautions during our summer camp to keep students and staff healthy by following Covid 19 Guildelines as provided by the state of Iowa and DHS.
