Kids Klub provides a fun interactive summer camp program for elementary aged students. This program is within the Southeast Polk Community School district.
** Student does NOT need to be a SEP student to attend.**
All day camps with arts & crafts, science projects, reading/writing, cooking, fieldtrips (local walking), swimming and guest speakers. Our camps provide breakfast, lunch and snack.
Kids Klub summer camp programs follow DHS state ratios 1 staff per 15 students and also provide meals in accordance with CACFP (Child Adult Care Food Program). Staff are all CPR/1st aid and Mandatory Reporter certified.

SUMMER CAMP 2024
Please take moment to read through before filling out your information. Several questions can be answered with the information below. Responses to summer camp questions will be delayed.
Registration begins March, 8th
- This will be first come first serve; even if you are already in your program you’ll need to register for our Summer Camp program.
- There is a registration fee per student for all registrations: $75 (includes sunscreen)
*State Assistance accepted families are required to pay registration fee. - The weekly cost $215 for members of the Altoona Campus and $225 for non-members of the Altoona Campus.
- Your bill must be current to be considered registered. Any families with past outstanding balances or current outstanding balances will be considered wait listed and will not have a spot until balances are paid in full.
- If there is an outstanding balance at the start of the Summer you must make sure this is paid prior to the first day of camp to attend.
What does my weekly fee cover?
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Snack
- Swimming at the aquatic park twice a week (no pass needed)
- Guest speakers
- Field trips (local and out of town)
- Transportation when necessary is provided by SEP Busses/Transportation, any and all activities that are provided by Kids Klub.
Things that might cost extra that are not required:
- Swimming Lesson Weeks 1&2 (more details will be provided later)
- YEL Camps (Youth Enrichment League)
- Snacks for Field Trips
- This list is not all inclusive and a few things may be added.
Camp Dates: Families can pick the weeks needed during registration. Pick the weeks that you need. All changes must be done by May 5th. After this date, no cancellations will be allowed. Cancellations by this date are not usually a problem but additions are harder if the weeks are full.
These dates are subject to change if the district does not have space for us. We will give as much notice as possible if they do change.
Camp Starts: Tentatively June 3rd (based on snow day makeup policy)
Camp Ends: August 16th
Camp Locations:
Incoming K (must be registered for Kindergarten) through going into 2nd grade they will be at TBD.
Going into 3rd-Going into 6th grade will be at TBD.
*Kids Klub is unable to accept any students over the age of 12.

- August 19th-22nd
Summer Schedule and Trips:
Schedules and themes will be out around the end of April. Each week has a different theme. Field trips are every other week, with 3rd-6th going on a field trip the first Wednesday of Camp, K-2 will go the 2nd Wednesday and they will alternate from there.
Summer Impact for students going into 7th and 8th grades. Information Coming soon!
Day Camps are days that are regularly scheduled no school (Inservice) days per the SEP District Calendar. During these day camps Kids Klub provides fun engaging activities for all ages. Guest Speakers and Field trips may be offered.
- Camps are offered as long as enrollment number allow. If registration numbers do not allow for a day camp Kids Klub will be closed.
- Kids Klub does not offer programming on Snow Days. If the district closes the school due to inclement weather Kids Klub will be closed.
