Youth Area
- Monday - Saturday 8:00-Noon.
- Monday - Thursday 4:00-8:00 p.m.
- ages 3-9 (toddler must be potty-trained)

- "Character Counts!" curriculum
- scheduled to coincide with fitness and aquatic classes
- parents of children under the age of nine must remain in the facility or be participating in an Altoona Campus sponsored program.
The Playhouse

- ages 6 weeks to 3 years (or until potty-trained)

Family Plus Childcare Package - Family +
Altoona Campus family, single-parent family and senior family membership households have the option of purchasing an unlimited childcare package at an affordable rate. These members are welcome to utilize the childcare services provided in The Playhouse Nursery and the Youth Area anytime during their regular hours of operation on an unlimited basis:
Monday-Friday 8:00-Noon.
Monday-Thursday 4:00-8:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00-Noon.
Family Plus Fees: This is an annual open-ended contract
One Child - $180/year ($17/month)
Two Children - $300/year ($27/month)
Three or more Children - $360/year ($32/month)
Members and non-members who occasionally use our childcare services are welcome to continue purchasing single-visit passes. Please be advised the cost per child, per visit will be $5.

Altoona Campus Flag Football
The Altoona Campus offers an exciting, “no-tackle” flag football league for all students entering 1st – 7th grade! Our unique program is designed to introduce players to the fundamentals of flag football, while developing skills in a safe FUN and recreational setting! The league is divided into 4 divisions based on grade:
1st Grade / 2nd & 3rd Grade / 4th & 5th Grade / 6th & 7th Grade
Registration Dates: Mon-Thurs, July 9th–12th 5-7pm At Altoona Campus
League Dates: Sept 15th – Oct 20th
*Teams practice once a week; all games are played at Lion’s Park on Saturday mornings starting at 9am.
Registration Fee: Only $70 per player!
*Includes a reversible jersey, mouth guard, and participation award!
SPRING WEE-BALL!
The Altoona Campus offers a t-ball league for 3-5 year olds! The “Wee Play T-Ball League”, or
“Wee Ball” for short, consists of two divisions: 4 & under and 5 & under. The rules and equipment are age-appropriate for each division and promote hustle, skill development, and teamwork!
To play in the 4U Division, players must be at least 3 years old by April 30, 2012. To play in the 5U Division, players must be at least 4 years old by April 30, 2012. All practices and games will be played on the mini-fields at Lions Park. Each team will have one game on a week-day evening and one game on Saturday.
The league will run April 23rd – May 19th (4 weeks).
Registration Dates:
Monday, Mar 26th – Thursday, Mar 29th 5:00-7:00p.m.
Saturday, Mar 31st 10a.m .- Noon
Registration will be held at the Altoona Campus, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Payment is due at time of registration. Forms received after March 31st will be placed on a waiting list.
TUMBLING PROGRAMS!
The Altoona Campus tumbling program introduces children to movement, coordination, balance and flexibility. Summer classes meet once a week for 4 weeks, and in-person registration will be held on the dates listed in the descriptions below. All classes will meet in the Multi-Purpose Room. TUMBLING TOTS (ages 2-3)
This “gym boree” style class practices listening and turn-taking while exploring a wide variety of mats and equipment! One guardian is asked to stay and participate with each child.
Registration: May 22nd & 24th 6-7pm
Class Meets: June 5th - June 30th
Options: Tues 4:15-4:45pm, Thurs 5-5:30pm, Sat10:15-10:45am
TUMBLING 1 (ages 3-5)
Students learn basic tumbling stunts and movements while developing coordination, strength, and flexibility. Turn-taking, listening, and social skills continue to be a focus in this class.
Registration: May 22nd & 24th 6-7pm
Class Meets: June 5th - June 30th
Options: Tues 5-5:30pm, Thurs 4:15-4:45pm, Sat 11-11:30
TUMBLING 2 (ages 4-6)
We added this intermediate level for those children who are ready for more advanced skills, yet are too young for Tumbling Club. Activities include walkovers, cartwheels, headstands, and balance beam.
Registration: June 26th & 28th 6-7pm
Class Dates: July 10th - August 4th
Options: Tues. 4-4:30pm, Thurs. 5-5:30pm, Sat. 9:30-10am
TUMBLING CLUB (ages 7+)
An extended class time allows for more advanced skill development and conditioning. Participants will rotate through stations in small groups.

Youth Classes
GYM & SWIM (Ages 3+)
Join our Youth Room as we work up a sweat with our indoor or outdoor play equipment, then cool off in the pool! Children under 3 are welcome but must be accompanied in the water by an adult. Registration not required.

MOVERS AND SHAKERS (Ages 2-5)
Calling all little movers and shakers! Welcome to our ‘music and movement’ class, created especially for kids who love music and dance. Explore music from around the globe while learning fun new moves.

Location: Multi-Purpose Room
Due to spring break there will be no classes on March 16th and 23rd.
COOKING CLUB (Grades K+)
Join us one Saturday each month to make healthy, kid-friendly recipes! Bring your appetite… we’ll sample everything we make! Payment and registration is required for each date.

RACQUETBALL & WEIGHT TRAINING
This one-time training course offers an orientation to the weight room, cardio equipment, and racquetball courts. Upon completion, students receive a pass granting them future access to the equipment and courts. Registration and parental permission is required.

SUMMMER CLASSES
Angie’s Craft Corner
Join Miss Angie for some creative FUN! Preschoolers ages 3-5 will paint with various materials, while kids entering grades K+ work on cool art projects! (no classes the week of July 4th). Please register at the front desk.

JUMPSTART (K+)
A morning workout is the perfect way to jumpstart your day! We like to head outside so be sure to dress cool! Registration is not required.
