BodyPump - Les Mills

This barbell class strengthens your entire body. This 55- minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. You’ll be inspired to get the results you came for!

Cardio Fusion

This class is an energizing low-impact cardiovascular class combined with strength training to give you a full body workout that will rev your heart and sculpt, lengthen, and tone your muscles.

Cardio Kick

A high-energy kickboxing class designed to improve cardiovascular endurance while strengthening and toning the entire body through kicks, punches, and intense core work.

HydroSpin - A ‘fusion’ program involving 30 mins.of high intensity spin bike, then 30 min. of HYDROMAX! - A deep water program of running, abdominal work, and kicking.  A total of 60 minutes of extreme exercise.

MIND AND BODY

 

Body Flow (YOGA)It is the NEW Yoga that incorporates Tai Chi and Pilates into a workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance. Let your mind/body go as you experience total relaxation during the last minutes of class.

Cycle Challenge - weights and resistance bands will be used to create a full body workout! Register at the front desk.  Classes are held on January 15th, February 12th, and March 11th 2:30-3:30p.m. Free for members!

 

Tae Kwon Do

Martial Arts of America offers children and adults the opportunity to learn the proper techniques of Tae Kwon Do. Registration is available on the first night of class during each session. For more information on pricing and session dates, please contact Martial Arts of America at 963-3494.

Kickball Tournament
August 25th AT Altoona Palooza!

 

Join the Altoona Campus for their first annual adult kickball tournament during Altoona Palooza! Teams of 10 players will compete in a tournament beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 25th.  Games will be held at the Sam Wise Softball fields.  The cost is $150 per team.  Teams may roster up to 15 players (must be 18 years or older) and teams must provide their own uniforms. 

Registration information and rules are available at the Altoona Campus Front Desk or online at altoonacampus.com or altoonapalooza.com.  Registration is due to Altoona Campus by August 12th. The winning team will receive $150 in Palooza Bucks!  *A minimum of 6 teams is required and a maximum of 12 teams.

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament
Join the Altoona Campus for their first 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. 
The tournament will be on August 4, 2012.  Games will begin at 10:00 am. 
Teams may have 5 players on a roster. Teams can also be co-ed.   Games will be held at Willowbrook Elementary.  Games will be played to 21.  Participants must be 18 years or older. Registration info and rules available online or at the front desk.  Please register by August 27th
